Add me as a user in GoHighLevel
So I can build pipelines, automations and forms in your account without borrowing your login.
Before you start
- Admin access to your GoHighLevel sub-account
- The email address I gave you
Adding me as a user means every change I make is logged under my name rather than yours, and you can remove me in one click when the work is finished.
Do this
- Log in and make sure you are inside the correct sub-account, not the agency view.
- Click Settings in the left sidebar, at the bottom.
- Click My Staff (in some versions this is called Team or Employees).
- Click Add Employee in the top right.
- Fill in my name and the email address I gave you.
- Set the User Type to Account and the Role to Admin.
- Save. I will get an email to set my own password.
Why Admin and not User
Most of what I would be building — pipelines, custom fields, workflows, calendars, forms — lives behind settings that a plain User role cannot open. If you would rather start me on User, that is completely fine; I will tell you the first time I hit a wall.
To remove me later
Same screen — Settings → My Staff → the three dots next to my name → Delete. Anything I built stays exactly where it is.
What this access actually gives me
I can see
- Contacts, conversations, pipelines, calendars and automations in this sub-account
- Anything a member of your team can see
I cannot see
- Billing details or your payment method
- Any other GoHighLevel account
If any of that is not what you expected, stop and message me before you click anything.
Stuck on a step?
Send me a screenshot of whatever is on your screen. That is almost always faster than describing it, and I would genuinely rather you asked than guessed.
